Meet Alexandra
Hi my name is Alexandra,
Accomplished art restoration specialist and painter with a background in art therapy. Extensive experience in restoring Baroque-era sculptures and fine art, combined with a passion for using art to support individuals with Alzheimer’s, dementia, and mental health challenges. Developed and implemented a successful art therapy program, leveraging creative expression to enhance emotional well-being. This work went on to influence my present style in painting which is reflected in the use of imaginative dream images designed to evoke a sense of awareness and emotion in the viewer. As a professionally trained artist my work is centered on storytelling and evoking positive emotions in the viewer. I am skilled in multiple mediums - ranging from oil and watercolor to linoleum block printing - and I enjoy exploring a broad spectrum of colors and styles. My artistic approach is not confined to a single technique, allowing me to adapt and innovate across different forms of expression. Beyond studio work, my passion lies in bringing art into the community, particularly through large - scale public artworks such as outdoor murals and painted utility boxes. I find great fulfillment in transforming shared spaces into vibrant meaningful places and I welcome any opportunity to create art that connects with people in their everyday environments.
